"See the Past!" Intro to Astronomy as a Hobby

A 1.5 hour seminar in english. I wrote this to be presented in german schools to help advanced students in english while also introducing them to the topic of amateur astronomy. The targeted age group is 15-19 with a level of proficiency in english. As necessary explanations in german will be made as needed. The goal of this seminar is a general overview of the amateur astronomy hobby and the associated knowledge of  physiology of the human eye, physics of light as well as the different aspects of astronomical observation required to evaluate when considering entering this hobby. Its intended to be informative and casually introduce the audience to the wide spectrum of ways to get started looking at the stars. Prerequisites: 2nd year english, high interest in the night sky.
